Chilled water tanks are used in air conditioning systems, to prevent frequent stops of the compressor and to maintain constant temperatures, so as to avoid timer activations, which would affect normal operation. Produced in carbon steel or in stainless, steel they are insulated with rigid expanded polyurethane or, alternatively, with elastomer foam. In the versions in carbon steel, if intended for outdoor installations, they are protected against corrosion by galvanisation or paint treatment, and coated with an aluminium sheet. Available in horizontal and vertical versions. All tanks undergo 100% pressure testing.
