February 1980 – CREATION OF FAR srl

The first orders were for general light carpentry products, produced to specifications and designs from clients operating in various sectors.

The choice to work with stainless steel from the beginning of our business allowed us to grow over the years, with significant experience in various methods of welding and moulding, allowing the business to achieve optimum quality levels and highly desirable products.

The opportunity for FAR to work in different sectors is another important feature which has enabled us to transfer specifically developed solutions, enabling us to constantly expand our company vision.

January 2003  TRADE AGREEMENT BETWEEN FAR srl AND MARINELLI srl

The two companies signed an important trade and synergy agreement for the industrial washing sector

February 2003 – CERTIFIED QUALITY

The company has obtained the following internal quality certificates:

– welders qualified according to UNI EN 1418 standards – reference document: UNI EN 287/1

– welding procedures qualified according to standard UNI EN 288/3

December 2004 – ESTABLISHMENT OF FAR DRYCLEANING srl

100% owned by the holding company FAR srl, the company was set up to manage all business linked to the industrial washing sector.

November 2005 – AWARD WINNER – OUTSTANDING COMPANIES CATEGORY 2005 PROVINCE OF FERRARA

In the “CNA – ECIPAR” Register of outstanding companies, six companies from the province of Ferrara were given awards for their “excellence” on Saturday 26 November 2005, as the conclusion to several initiatives of the 2nd provincial Meeting of Innovation in crafts and SMEs, promoted by the National Confederation “CNA”.

The shortlist was narrowed down to six outstanding companies, including FAR srl, by a strict selection process, starting with 300 companies from the province which were judged to be amongst the best in terms of financial and managerial services, on the basis of accurate and specific criteria for comparative economic analysis (benchmarking)

April 2009  NEW LINE OF “CE” 11 bar COMPRESSED AIR STAINLESS STEEL TANKS

To complete the range of stainless steel tanks, “INTERNAL TESTING” was carried out on a new series of stainless steel tanks in compliance with directive 97/23/EC (PED), in different versions from 1.3l to 100l.

December 2009 – INCORPORATION OF FAR DRYCLEANING srl BY FAR srl

Formalisation of the merger by incorporation of the two companies, the final step of a company merger which had already existed on an operational level for some time.

November 2010 – PHOTOVOLTAIC PLANT FOR FAR!!!

Believing in the importance of energy saving and the attention that must be paid to energy from non-polluting renewable sources, the company had a 100 kW photovoltaic plant installed on its roof, which provides more than 50% of its annual energy requirements.

April 2012 – NEW PRODUCTION LINE: COPPER FIN COILS

FAR is developing a new production line for manufacturing copper fin coils for heat exchange. Technically efficient and ecologically balanced products, these products have a compact design resulting in greater thermal capacity for boilers and other devices.

November 2013 – TOWARDS ISO 9001 CERTIFICATION

Working with a major consultancy firm, the company will certify its operations according to the ISO 9001 standards, to provide evidence the quality of its management system, which fully complies with these standards of excellence.
